After debuting with 2 speculative EPs of discordant, multi-artist, electronic entertainments, the sporadic evolution of Avidya continues with EP#3, offering tracks, tools and meanderings from a coterie of individuals whose relationship is phylogenetic, presenting their music for dancefloors.

Your auditory cortex is opened and tested by Odopt (Born Free / 777 Recordings) and their ultimate DJ tool. Now Paris based, the emigres’ return to Avidya with 11000 Versions OF A Simple Track (Berlin Mix), a title that is just that, one of many music entities that are squared for the club, appearing here with The Grey City’s darkroom meccas in its heart. Pure propulsion, kinetic, industrial, a banger.

Rising star Remotif (Coymix / space lab) is embraced. The return of trance is overly documented but with every cultural reawakening, there is the good. HAJKSD15 is low slung, Joe’s groove a knack in capturing ears and brains. You can hear and feel the understanding, the cultural identification and sensation seeking, creating a relationship of music and emotions, learning and memory.

The cerebellum arousal and mood moves Full Circle (Crowdspacer / Good Morning Tapes). Alexis Le Tan and Joakim’s project is the essence. Their self-aware Back To The Disco Valley series was so far ahead it was the curve, a decade of shining the Anjuna dawn, it just took everyone years to catch up. N-Tropic is Alexis in youth, releasing the true Goa experience on the seminal Blue Room Released back in ’98 and other numerous comps. One Night Stand was more than hypotheses, it’s function speculative. Reborn ‘slo-mo’ in Paris with Joakim, completed in Berlin with studio master, the dark star Kris Baha, the track becomes a key component to Avidya’s evolution, cladograms to share, hierarchical methods applied…or just having fun.

The consequent quest meanders, music-induces chills, congruent with conjecture, reducing brain anxiety, leading to epiphany. Whatever, our hodgepodge reaches closing, for now, with 53X (Emotional Especial / Avoidance). Jonny Lydén’s protoblastic Simulaatio, an analog jam beatdown extreme. Mixing industrial beats with “few dollars more” sampledelics, embracing the real nature of things, presented as something raw and new, marking the label rebirth and next chapter.
